The Western Arms has recently undergone a major refurbishment and is a great pub with good family food, daily dining deals, cask ales, sports and a large beer garden with kids play area in Silver End near Witham. There’s something for everyone including great food and drinks, a wonderful beer garden and great family dining and lovely bar and lounge areas that can also be used as a spaces for private functions. We also have a large level car park and step free access to all areas and an accessible toilet and baby change area, so we can accommodate all the family in comfort.

Family dining
We serve good home cooked family friendly pub dining near Witham that’s always great value and quality and we have some great daily dining deals too – see our deals here. Our menu is family friendly and includes steaks, burgers, fish and chips, fajitas and sandwiches and we also serve an excellent Sunday roast and have some great vegetarian, vegan and gluten free menu choices – see our menus here. We can get busy on a weekend so please book a table to be sure although, we will always do our best to find a table! In the warmer months the pub has an excellent garden and outside children’s play area to enjoy sunshine days with great quality food and refreshing drinks. In the winter we have a cosy interior with a real fire.
Great bar
Our bar serves 2 Cask Marque accredited ales; Greene King IPA and a rotating guest ale. We also serve a great range of premium lagers, ciders and beers plus a Heineken Blade serving ice cold draught Heineken Zero. We also offer a good range of quality gins all served with superior Fever Tree tonics, plus some great whiskies, rums and a selection of fine wines. We have a barista coffee machine and a choice of quality whole bean coffees and a great tea selection and always have fresh cake in our lounge bar. We are a great place to meet with friends for coffee and a catch up!
